The Tyrone Police Department will be hosting the Student Operators Program (S.T.O.P.) on Saturday, October 26th, 2024 at 10am at the Tyrone Police Department and will last approximately two (2) hours. This program was created to provide young drivers with basic information in regards to vehicle operations and traffic stops in the event of a driver being stopped by the police.
Attendance is limited to Fayette County residents who are at least 15 years of age (parent/guardian authorization needed if under the age of 18) with the class size limited to twenty (20) seats. Those who wish to attend, please RSVP by October 10th, 2024 by completing the packet attached below. Completed packets may be returned to the front office desk or by mail to:
